The Coach And Horses has gone through many transformations from an eighteenth century coaching inn, to a pub and now a restaurant (Beefeater) but still retaining the bar area. The inside has been modernised although the two open fireplaces are original. The steeply sided slate roof and the rounded arch porches are distinctive. The building is Grade 2 listed.
