Westgate Hotel Cardiff in January 2019 shortly after closure. A fine example of a city-centre corner pub built in 1932 and so listed as Grade II by CADW. It stands on the corner of Cowbridge Road East and Lower Cathedral Road and Brains Brewery closed it with there being talk of planning permission to convert it to a single dwelling.
