Kings Head Hotel, Newport, Gwent in 1975-80. There was a pub on this site from the 1750s but called the Kings Arms from 1811-1815. It burnt down and was rebuilt (as it is now) in 1900. It became a Hancock's House until Hancock's were taken over by Bass. The pub became a music venue with Jerry Lee Lewis and Van Morrison appearing, among others. It closed in 2012 and was saved as a building in 2014 by conversion into apartments called King's #Court. In some of the photos a Courage pub can be seen to the right called the Carpenter's Arms (still there 2019) and the lane between the two buildings is signed "Carpenters Arms Lane."
