Digey postmarked 1922
Digey_St_Ives_Cornwall

Posted 13 July 1922. The pitched porch roof has been removed from as seen in earlier postcards but the slate flashing remains. Half of the window opening to the porch was open earlier but now is covered in a cloth, presumably to keep out the weather. The woman, seated, is knitting or crocheting. Probably the man who is her husband looks over the other half. Between this building and the one to the right is a heap of stone, either from demolition, or future building.
To Mrs. TC. Tarling, 14 Cecil Road, Hounslow, Middlesex.
Poted from c/o Mrs Young, Skidden Gardens, St. Ives Cornwall.
Dear Mum, just a card to wish you many happy returns for Sunday. I have ordered some cream for you so you will be able to look out for the postman on Saturday. We are still enjoying ourselves very much. Love to Dad and yourself, love Lena
