Third digit of year uncertain, maybe 1st August 1946. Looking down Porthmeor Road towards the cottages on Porthmeor beach. A similar shot now (2021) shows the sloping ramp bottom left still there (with a guard rail) both sets of stairs shown still exist but with guard rails and the house with bay windows, last on the left still appears to exist. The housing facing us looks to have possibly been rebuilt or heavily renovated.
